What data we process and why
- Account (name, email, hashed password; or name and email from your Google profile if you sign in with Google): to create and manage your account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Quote requests (free text you write): to answer your request. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures.
- Quiz (name, email, business, answers, urgency): to calculate and send you the estimate you requested and to contact you about it, with your consent. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request; consent for follow-up contact.
- Transactional emails (account verification, quiz estimate): sent through our provider Resend.
- Technical data (IP address, user-agent in security logs): for security and abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Kept for up to 90 days.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses no profiling cookies and no trackers. We only use the browser's technical storage (localStorage) for: your session, chosen language and quote draft. A temporary technical cookie is used during Google sign-in for security. No cookie banner is therefore required.
Who receives the data
We never sell or share your data. It is processed on our behalf only by: Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (site network and security), Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). Data is stored on servers we run directly in the EU.
Transfers outside the EU
Some providers are US-based: transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
- Account: until you delete it (plus 30 technical days).
- Quote requests: up to 24 months from last contact.
- Quiz leads: up to 12 months, then deleted automatically.
- Technical logs: up to 90 days.
Your rights
You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure or portability of your data, object to processing or withdraw consent by writing to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (for Italy: garanteprivacy.it).
Other information
The service is not directed at children under 14. The quiz estimate is an automatic, purely indicative calculation with no legal effect: the final quote is always prepared by a person. Data marked as required is necessary to provide the requested service; optional fields are up to you.
